Design and installation of automatic sprinkler systems: hazard classification (Light/Ordinary/Extra), density-area curves, hydraulic calculations, sprinkler spacing.

Once IFC 903 triggers a sprinkler system, NFPA 13 (or 13R / 13D for residential) governs the design. The MEP workflows do not run hydraulic calcs — they flag the requirement and link to NFPA 13 for follow-up by a fire-protection engineer.
