Addresses foam systems combining water and foam concentrate for flammable liquid fires.

NFPA 115 specifies foam-water sprinkler systems used for flammable liquid storage areas, heliports, and other high-hazard areas. Foam concentrate mixed with water creates a foam blanket smothering fires. Systems can be activated manually or automatically by smoke or heat detection. Foam concentrate storage tanks must have level indicators. Proportioning systems maintain proper foam concentrate concentration.
