NFPA 75 (2024) is the prescriptive standard for fire protection of IT equipment rooms. Required: 60-min fire-rated construction separation from non-IT spaces, clean-agent suppression (FK-5-1-12, FM-200, or inert-gas) for critical white-space, smoke detection at VESDA sensitivity, no combustible storage in IT rooms, EPO emergency power-off on all sides of egress. Containment systems must use UL 723 Class A materials. Referenced by CFC §605 (CA) and IFC §605 (AZ/NV).
