San Francisco DBI Administrative Bulletin AB-082 requires independent peer review by SETC (Structural and Engineering Technical Committee) for every new building 160 ft or taller. Peer review covers structural design intent, analytical procedure, nonlinear modeling assumptions, foundation system, and seismic protective systems. SF additionally requires conformance to PEER TBI Guidelines for performance-based seismic design. Plan review cycles typically run 2-3 rounds; budget 3-6 months for AB-082 SETC closeout.
