NEC 220.12 — General Lighting Load by Occupancy

VA-per-square-foot table used as the base general-lighting load in any service-load calc. Office 3.5, dwelling 3.0, restaurant 2.0, warehouse 0.25.

NEC 220.12 establishes the minimum unit load for general lighting per occupancy. Used as input to NEC 220.42 / 220.83 demand calcs. Implementation in src/lib/mep-load-calc.ts VA_PER_SQFT table.
