ASCE 7 Chapter 0 addresses quality assurance. Design professionals must verify that designs comply with code loads. Materials and connections must be tested to verify capacity. Welding and bolting require specialized inspection. Concrete curing and strength testing verify adequate strength. Steel connections are inspected for proper tightness and alignment. These procedures ensure that the final building achieves the design intent.
