IBC Ch4: 403 high-rise (>75ft above FLED): sprinklered, Class I standpipe, fire alarm with voice, smokeproof enclosures, secondary water supply, emergency power. 404 atriums: sprinklered, smoke control, glass guards per 2406.2. 405 underground buildings (>30ft below exit): compartmented, standby power. 407 Group I-2 hospitals: corridor walls smoke partitions, smoke compartments 22,500sf max. 408 Group I-3 detention: smoke-proof locks, guard staff. 410 stages/platforms: proscenium wall 2-hr, fire curtain, sprinklers. 420 Group I-1/R-4 assisted living: fire barriers, smoke alarms.

Maximum travel distance from any point in a building to an exit shall not exceed 200 feet unsprinklered or 250 feet sprinklered for most occupancies. Specific occupancies have modified limits.
