Establishes water supply source, treatment, and delivery to fixtures.

Section P2701 addresses water supply from municipal sources or private wells. Water pressure must be 20-80 psi at fixtures. Pressure regulators reduce excessive pressure from municipal mains. Check valves prevent back-flow to public mains. Water meters measure consumption for billing. Supply piping is sized for peak demand, typically 40-80 gallons per minute for residential systems.
