Addresses fire safety during construction and temporary operations on building sites.

NFPA 241 establishes fire safety during construction. Hot work (welding, cutting) requires fire watches and preparation. Smoking is prohibited except in designated areas. Temporary electrical systems must be properly grounded. Temporary sprinkler systems protect construction areas. Debris must be properly stored and disposed to prevent fire accumulation. Exit routes from construction areas must remain clear.
